Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you are having a wonderful Mother's Day! You deserve it, especially if you are a mom.

Brandon painted me the cutest little birdhouse at his sitters. He was so excited for me to open it. My sitter said he spent an hour painting it! For a 2 yr old, an hour is a long time to work on a project. He just loves to paint.

I've only been a mother for two years now and it's the most challenging and rewarding job there is. One day you feel like you are totally screwing this child up, and the next they are hugging you and telling you they love you and you think to yourself that you're doing ok. I definitely thought before I had kids that it was going to be a breeze. I grew up wanting 6 kids! Today, I can't imagine more than one. Maybe I'd have another if I didn't have to work full-time. It's really hard being a mom today. You have so many hats to wear in a given day. Hats off to all moms today!

I had a little time today to do Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I dug out an old paper pad I had from K & Company - Brenda Walton. It's so soft & pretty looking. You know me, I love anything floral. I took the saying from SU! Friendship Blooms set. The little pearls are so cool. They are flat on one side and have adhesive on them. I got them when I went to Archivers. They are by Mark Richards.

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and had some time to create!

God bless!

Tiffany

You're cards are gorgeous!! I would have never put those papers together, but then again, I am pattern paper challenged. I never think papers go together, but then I see a card like yours and it looks so elegant and beautiful.

Such pretty cards. The pearls add a great touch. And you said you only had a little time to make them?? You sound like a great mom. And it seems as though your son might have picked up his mom's creative gene!
