Fall is in the Air

Hello my friends!

Can you tell fall is coming? The leaves around here are already starting to change. I can tell fall is coming because my allergies kicked in the last week. It's no fun at all. Can anyone relate? I still claim fall as my favorite season though! :)

I found this pretty stamp, "Happy Thanksgiving", about a week ago at my local craft store. The manufacturer is Inkadinkado. I paired it up with some fall looking patterned paper from K & Company and chipboard embellishments from American Crafts. The oval center was created using Nestabilities.

Does anyone have any big plans for over this long Labor Day weekend? We are staying home and potty training Brandon. It's going ok. What a task. If you have any advice, I would love to know. Please share!!!

Thank you for stopping by and I'll be posting again soon this weekend.

Take care and God bless!

A Stamp Free Card!

Happy Saturday Friends!

I love to stamp, but sometimes the card just doesn't need them. I was going to cut out a little window on this and add a saying, but I thought it looked good without adding anything additional. What do you think?

The Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip cardstock I embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The leafy ribbon is from Maya Road, if my memory serves me correctly. The big pink flower is from Prima, and the yellow one from Bazzill. The cute little brad in the center is from Making Memories. Add any sentiment on the inside and you are good to go!

This card was inspired by Stamps-Paper-Scissors.com weekly challenge. The picture below, taken from http://www.bhg.com/, was to inspire us to create something out of the design, color, etc. It was tough, so I did the best I could.

It's hard to believe Labor Day Weekend is just around the corner. I have lots of goodies coming your way this fall, so stay tuned and subscribe to my blog if you haven't already. If you subscribe, you will get an automatic e-mail every time I update my blog. Fall is my favorite season of the year and I have so many supplies for the season it's not even funny. You can never have too much though, right?

Take care and God bless!

A Whole Lot of Ribbon!

Hello friends!

I'm sorry it's been awhile. Time just flies and before you know it, it's the weekend again!

This cute little card was fun to make and I got to use up some of my ribbon! It is a flap card and the row of ribbon is hiding where you open it up. All I did was punch a row of little circles along the edge of the flap and put the ribbon through each hole & tied it off. The little girl is from the new set of stamps from Stampin' Up! called Window Dressing. It's a hostess set you can earn by placing an order yourself or with a bunch of friends to meet the minimum requirement for this set. It's not hard to do, trust me!

I hope you had a fantastic week and stayed tuned . . more this weekend!!!

Thank you for stopping by!

Back to Scrapbooking!

Ahhh, I've missed scrapbooking my favorite subject - Brandon! The Weekly Challenge over at Stamps, Paper, Scissors was this layout. Instead of doing my usual cards, I decided to do an 8x8 layout. This black & white photo is of my son when he was one month old. It seems like this picture was taken 10 years ago instead of two. Time flies!

Supplies used for layout:
Patterned paper - Hot Off The Press
Transparency - Daisy D's
Stars - Making Memories, Stickles glitter glue
Cardstock - Stampin' Up! Whisper White embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Punch - Stampin' Up! Scallop Edge, circle

Tomorrow I am going to a HUGE craft show in Ohio. It's one of my favorites. The crafts are really unique and the talent is amazing.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Blessings

I'm back from Royal Family Kids Camp! Whew, I am tired.
The kids had a great time and that's what it's all about! These kids need all the blessings they can get, given their backgrounds.

Speaking of blessings, I created this card for a sketch challenge over at Stamps-Paper-Scissors. All the patterned paper is from Daisy D's including the large die cut flower. I love the soft, vintage look of Daisy D's paper. It's very unique. The word "blessings" is from a Stampin' Up! set used with SU! Chocolate Chip ink.

Are you enjoying looking at the new Stampin' Up! catalog? I am getting ready to place my order now that I'm back in town. There is so much I want, it's going to be difficult to decide what to order first.

I'm super tired and need to get to bed. I'll have more this weekend.

Thank you for stopping by and God bless!

Wishing You Joy

It's hard to believe it's August already, agree? Summer sure does fly! The kids will be back to school in just a couple weeks around here.

I made this card for my weekly challenge over at Stamps-Paper-Scissors. They provided the sketch. Due to my lack of time this weekend, I kept it fairly simple. All the patterned paper is from Daisy D's. I stamped "wishing you joy" using one of the $1 stamps from Michaels, in Stampin' Up! Chocolate Chip ink. The little square brads on each side are from Making Memories.

Don't forget, tomorrow the new Stampin' Up! Catalog/Idea Book will be live online to look at and order from. You will enjoy looking at the new products and samples in there.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and God bless!

Stampin' Up! Round Tab Punch Flower

Hello fellow paper crafters!

The weekend is almost here. I can't wait. I leave for Royal Family Kids Camp on Sunday. My husband and I are assistant directors of the Erie County camp. It's a week long camp for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. We have done it for several years now. It's very tiring, but rewarding.

I mentioned in my last post I would be using the Stampin' Up! Tab punch in a different way. I used it to make the flower on this card! I punched out 5 tabs in patterned paper and just overlapped them a little to make this flower. I have two circular layers for the center of the flower to cover up the ends of the tabs. The first layer is a 1.25" circle and the one on top is a 1" circle with a pop dot underneath it. All the patterned paper used here is Stampin' Up! Spring Fling.

To add a little message on this card, I dug out my SU! Fundamental Phrases set and stamped "Hi There". I used the SU! Word Window punch to cut that out and layered it on pop dots. I added some little pearls next to the message and one in the center of the flower, just to add a soft touch.

I have been perusing the new Stampin' Up! catalog every day and I'm so excited to place an order next week. You will be able to view the new catalog and order from it next week. I am really excited about one particular new Christmas set in there and all the new Designer Series Paper they added! I want it all!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Scallop Punch Mania!

Hello friends!

I told you I had some fun with my punches this week! This card utilizes the scallop circle punch from Stampin' Up! I used it 3 times on this one. Can you find all three? Yep, that's right - behind the "thank you" sticker and two scoops on the ice cream cone! All I did was carefully nip off the scallops on half of the punch out and whola! You have a yummy scoop of ice cream! Cute? I put a deep red cherry on top with Stickles on it to make it sparkle. What fun!

You are probably wondering about the cone? Is it pre-made embossed paper? Nope! I just cut out a triangular shape from tan cardstock and scored lines to make it look like a cone.

* Idea *
- You could use the Stampin' Up! Slit punch on the inside to make a slit for a gift card to the local ice cream shop! What a great summer "thank you" gift this could be!!!!

Let me know what your favorite scoops of ice cream are? My favorites are birthday cake and strawberry cheesecake.

Next posting will have a really different idea for using the Stampin Up! Round Tab punch.

Thank you for stopping by and let me know about your favorite flavor of ice cream!!!

Keep cool!

Tiffany
P.S. My son is trying to figure out how to use the pedals here in his bare feet! Too cute. I had to share it!!! :)
Supplies for Thank You Card:
Stampin' Up! Cardstock: Whisper White, Pretty In Pink, Chocolate Chip
Patterned Paper & "thank you" sticker: Pebbles Inc
Stampin' Up! Punch: Scallop Circle
Making Memories Brad

It's Saturday and I hope you are having a good one!

I am so excited because there is some exciting news with Stampin' Up! They have teamed up with Sizzix to offer the Big Shot machine along with dies that will only be sold exclusively through Stampin' Up! I saw a sneak peek of these dies, and they are cool.
