Northern Flurry

I'm back!!!!! It's been a "flurry" of happenings in my life over the past few weeks.

I am excited to tell you I got a management position at my place of employment that I have wanted for a really long time. I start my new position on Monday.

Two weeks ago we took a trip to visit family in North Carolina. We got home and a member of my husband's family had to go to the hospital. Everything is starting to settle down now - finally.

Although life can be a "flurry", making Christmas cards doesn't have to be with the new Stampin' Up! Northern Flurry Embossing Folder. I love embossing folders because they make a card so quick & easy with superb results.

To make my snowflakes stand out a little more on this card, I sponged Whisper White Craft Ink lightly over the embossed image and popped each flake with a Stampin Up Basic Rhinestone.

I hope you are enjoying fall. It's a beautiful season and great time to stamp or scrapbook. Enjoy your day & happy stamping!

Gorgeous card, but I'm sorry, I'm so not ready for winter. This weekend is supposed to feel like summer here in Indiana. Lovin' it! I will keep this design in mind for a cold December scrap day.

Beautiful card, Tiffany! I love that dry embossed snowflake background.

How ironic is this -- I think I know you. I'm pretty sure we go to the same church, even, and that I used to have your son in my nursery class.

I was clicking through the local community list of blogs and saw your title and guessed that it must be for papercrafting, so I came right on in. And then I recognized your name. :o)

I don't know that much about Stampin' Up -- I usually buy most of my products locally (I work at one of the local craft stores) or online, but I've heard that Stampin' Up's inks are the best and I've been thinking of trying to find a demonstrator... I've only been making cards for about 9 months, but I love it!
